Rules

Everything you need to know about participating in Bhanuvara League tournaments. Read carefully before registering your team.

All-Bangalore Grand Final

14th June 2026 at BCU Basecamp, Gandhi Nagar. ₹20,000 prize pool.

Team Composition

  • Each team must register with 5 compulsory players and up to 2 optional subs
  • It is a 5-a-side tournament (4 outfielders and 1 goalkeeper)
  • A minimum of 5 players is required to start a match
  • Rolling substitutions are allowed during any stoppage in play

Match Duration

  • Each match will be 10 minutes total — two 5-minute halves with a 1-minute halftime break
  • No extra time in matches; drawn matches will be decided by a penalty shootout

Tournament Format

  • Group stage followed by knockout rounds
  • Top 2 teams from each group advance to semi-finals
  • Winners of semi-finals compete in the grand final

Disciplinary Rules

Detailed disciplinary rules and regulations will be disclosed on the day of the tournament. All teams are expected to maintain fair play and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Match Rules

  • No offside rule
  • Backpasses to the goalkeeper are allowed, but the goalkeeper cannot handle the ball
  • Goal kicks must be taken from the ground
  • All free kicks are direct
  • Kick-ins instead of throw-ins
  • Slide tackles are not allowed except for the goalkeeper within their area

Registration and Fees

  • Registration fee: ₹3,000 per team
  • Payment can only be made online via UPI
  • All players must sign a liability waiver before participating
  • Limited spots available, register early!

By registering for any Bhanuvara League tournament, all teams and players agree to abide by these rules. The tournament organizers reserve the right to modify these rules if necessary, with proper notice to all participants.
